Scope of Works

Alltype Engineering was contracted to provide engineering, detailed design, supply and fabrication for 16 off 304L stainless steel shop fabricated API650tanks, both lagged and unlagged, for the Kemerton Lithium Plant near Bunbury. Fabricated scope was circa 100 Ton.

Additionally, Alltype Engineering also detailed, supplied, fabricated, surface treated and off-site part assembled spodumene delivery “Grizzly” structural steel works for trains 1 and 2. The spodumene delivery works package totalled 55 tonnes, and in addition to the two Grizzlys, included two sets of associated walkways, stairways, liner plates, guard rail posts and component support steelwork.

Having specialist tank fabrication tooling, jigs, processes and equipment, Alltype Engineering was able to completely manufacture and test the tanks on premises and load out via the workshop overhead gantry cranes, minimising cost, complexity and risk for the tank handling prior to shipment.

The tanks and spodumene delivery works were delivered to Kemerton in Q2 and Q3, 2020.
