Very few companies can offer the complete manufacturing supply chain solution in house, incorporating procurement, automated processing, fabrication, welding, testing through to site construction and multidiscipline installation services.

Alltype Engineering saves our clients on both direct and indirect costs, providing the best overall project value solution whilst maximising Australian content.

We have the capacity to fabricate, weld and handle over 5,000 tonnes of structural material, 4,000 tonnes of piping material and 3,000 tonnes of plate per annum.

Our pipe, plate and steel processing capability is extensive and covers:

• 80NB to 2000NB pipe with a wall thickness of up to 100mm
• Tank and Vessel shells up to 2m in diameter
• Plate up to 250mm thick on one of the largest plasma beds in Australia
• Structural Steel up to 900UB deep in section.

Our site installation and construction capability is only limited by availability of key personnel and equipment.

Operating out of a modern and custom designed office facility, we utilise IT systems and software commensurate with the requirements of our clients, from AutoCAD and SolidWorks for CAD related design and drawing review requirements, through the entire Microsoft suite of products for communication, scheduling and operations and Pronto for ERP and finance management.

Our team consists of workshop and site experienced engineers and tradespeople, tertiary qualified professionals and administration support personnel to ensure our projects are managed professionally, competently and with high levels of customer service.

• Workshop Bay 1 and 2:
  • Dual bays 23.5m width x 90m length, 9m under hook
  • 4 x gantry cranes, 17.5 tonne capacity; 4 x gantry cranes, 40 tonne capacity

• Workshop Bay 3:
  • 5m width x 71m length, 9m under hook
  • 3 x gantry cranes, 20 tonne capacity

• Workshop Bay 4:
  • 12m width x 90m length dedicated servicing and site services support facility

Alltype Engineering has previously sourced additional dedicated workshop and hardstand space for specialised projects and unique client requirements where greater capacity is required.

The workshops include a dedicated stores area, maintenance bay, welding machines, plumbed compressed air, power and gas, pipe, vessel and tank rotators, jigs, mobile cranes, forklifts, EWP’s and hydrotest water tank.

Our steel processing capability is second to none in Australia with inhouse:

• Plate processing, combination drilling and cutting plasma machine
• Structural steel coping robot
• Structural steel drill and saw beamline
• Pipe 5 axis pipe profiling machine

Solar power generation, dust and air particulate collection and scrubbing, segregated scrap metal and waste bins and a dedicated hydro-testing water storage tank are utilised to their fullest extent to miminise our environmental footprint. 

In addition to the shop infrastructure, we own and operate plant, tools and equipment for site construction activities including:
