Alltype Engineering has the capacity to handle over 5,000 tonnes of structural material, 4,000 tonnes of piping material and 3,000 tonnes of plate per annum – or greater volumes of each. In addition to the workshop is a 12,000m2 assembly area for steel, vessel, tank skid and module assembly or storage.

 

Fabrication Services

Alltype Engineering have experience in a wide range of codes and specifications, across a multitude of industries and standards including, but not limited to:

  • AS1554, AS4100, AS3990 and AWS D1.1 - Structural
  • AS4041, ASME B31.3 and ASME B31.1 - Piping
  • AS2885 - High Pressure Pipelines and Components

We have the capacity to fabricate, weld and handle over 5000 tonnes of structural material, 4000 tonnes of piping and 3000 tonnes of plate per annum.

Our pipe, plate and steel processing capability covers up to 2000NB pipe with a wall thickness of up to 100mm, plate up to 250mm thick and steel up to 1200WB section.

Our site installation and construction capability is only limited by availability of key personnel and equipment. 

Operating out of a modern and custom designed office facility, we utilise IT systems and software commensurate with the requirements of our clients, from Autocad for CAD related design and drawing review requirements through the entire Microsoft suite of products for communication, scheduling and operations and Pronto for ERP and finance management.

Our team consist of workshop and site experienced engineers and tradespeople, tertiary qualified professionals and administration personnel to ensure our projects are managed professionally, competently and with high levels of customer service.

Fabrication Facilities

The hub of Alltype Engineering’s operations are our custom built office and workshop facility.

Alltype Engineering operate from a custom designed and built modern workshop and office facility. Some of our key workshop and operational capacity is listed below and we are available at any time for a workshop tour to truly demonstrate our capabilities.

Workshop Bay 1 and 2:

  • Dual bays 23.5m width x 90m length
  • 4 x Eilbeck gantry cranes with min 9m under hook, 1 x 12.5t, 2 x 5t and 1 x dual 5t (Bay 1)
  • 4 x Eilbeck gantry cranes with min 9m under hook, 2 x 20t, 2 x 10t and 4 x 1t column davit cranes (Bay 2)

Workshop Bay 3:

  • 23.5m width x 71m length
  • 3 x Eilbeck gantry cranes with min 9m under hook, 3 x 10t
  • Additional future capacity rail at 12m under hook, max capacity 2 x 40t 

Workshop Bay 4:

  • 12m width x 90m length
  • Reticulated compressed air and gases
  • Plasma and oxy cutting machine

Alltype Engineering has previously sourced additional dedicated workshop and hardstand space for specialised projects and unique client requirements where greater capacity is required for trial and final assembly scopes and long term storage and preservation. 

The workshops include a dedicated stores area, maintenance bay, welding machines, plumbed compressed air, power and gas, pipe, vessel and tank rotators, jigs, mobile cranes, forklifts, EWP’s and CCTV security.

Our steel processing capability is second to none with inhouse:

  • Plate processing, combination drilling and cutting plasma machine
  • Structural steel coping robot
  • Structural steel drill and saw beamline
  • Five axis pipe profiling machine

We also self execute complimentary electrical, controls and instrumentation scopes as part of a value added solution for our customers.

Alltype Engineering constantly strives to minimise our environmental footprint, focusing on waste elimination, minimised emissions and striving to be a good corporate citizen. As such we have incorporated the following features into our facilities:

  • On site solar power generation
  • Dust and air particulate collection and scrubbing
  • Segregated scrap metal and waste bins
  • Dedicated hydrotesting water storage tank
  • Recycling bins.

 

Project Case Study

Stage 2 Tianqi Lithium Hydroxide Processing Plant

Alltype Engineering was contracted to deliver detailing, fabrication, testing and supply of 33 stainless steel (Lean and Super Duplex) tanks and all associated complete with external insulation to the majority of the tanks. Tanks ranged from 2.5-7.1m diameter and 3.8-8.3m in height.
