Scope of Works

Alltype Engineering was contracted to fabricate and install the “Nowergup Inspection and Maintenance Building Track 12 Walkway” project. It included walkway structure, stairs and handrailing.

It included onsite survey and measurement, detailed shop drawings, fabrication and site installation, pre shut down planning, special training of all site personnel including for fortress locking system, surface treatment including site works and touch up, and testing and commissioning.

The project was extremely tight tolerances to ensure no clashes with platform and rail carriages.

All site works were carried out on night shifts within limited working windows due to the ongoing use of the Inspection and Maintenance Building for railcar inspections and maintenance.
