Scope of Works

Alltype Engineering was contracted by APA Group to provide workshop fabrication and multi-discipline brownfields site construction services, for the CSMPEI upgrade works at the Murrin Offtake Station.

One of the key components of this project was the sequencing of both construction and demolition activities to facilitate the continuation of gas supply, with Alltype Engineering fabricating and installing a temporary bypass facilities pipeline at the commencement of work.

Once this bypass was commissioned and operational, the existing gas supply was depressurised, purged and isolated prior to removal and decommissioning.

The new facilities upgraded piping, valves, controls and instrumentation could then be installed, with the works incorporating an upgrade to the existing facilities E&I infrastructure.

These works included the installation of increased capacity DN250 facility pipework, valves, pipe supports, metering equipment and supporting E&I works to enable increased flow capacity through the station of approximately 40TJ/day.
