Scope of Works

Alltype Engineering was contracted by APA Group to provide workshop fabrication and multi-discipline brownfields site construction services, for the CSMPEI upgrade works at the Murrin Delivery Station.

One of the key components of this project was the sequencing of both construction and demolition activities to facilitate the continuation of gas supply to the Minara Resources nickel-cobalt operations and minesite facilities.

The scope of works undertaken included:

• Minor civil and concrete works for facility modifications
• Replacement of the existing heat exchanger to allow for the heating of gas at full line pressure
• Modifications to existing pipework to connect to the new heat exchanger
• Installation of a new 3-way temperature control valve
• Modifications to regulating rack piping, valves and instrumentation.

The works were completed ahead of schedule with an exemplary safety performance by the team, during some of the hottest times of the year.
