Alltype Engineering was appointed by SmartWays Alliance (SWA) to supply and fabricate one CG-3A gantry for Manning Road, as part of Main Roads Western Australia’s (MRWA) Smart Freeway - Kwinana Northbound Project.
The gantry was manufactured to AS5131 CC3 standard. The fabrication process governed full traceability for materials and welding, increased levels for welding qualification and surface preparation. Application of Main Roads’ specifications for materials certification and additional testing resulted in the highest quality applicable for this type of structure.
