Alltype Engineering Services has been fabricating MSCL pipe
spools since 1988.
The Managing Director, Mr Colin Heitman, has been involved
with this field of work since the beginning of his apprenticeship
with Steel Mains in 1980.
In the early 1990s the company commenced site installation
of MSCL piping systems including welding, reinstatement
of coatings and testing.
With the vast experience and strong commitment to developing
effective fabrication and installation systems and procedures,
Alltype has firmly established itself as the industry leader
in MSCL fabrication in Western Australia.
This claim is endorsed by the consultative arrangement
Alltype has with the Construction Branch of the WA Water
Corporation, and it's position as preferred contractor for
the supply, fabrication and installation of MSCL piping
systems.
The company recently supplied all of the pre-fabricated
pipe spools and performed 70% of the welding for the new
110 km long, 1400 NB Stirling trunk main.
The work force for this project alone peaked at 60, and
apart from completing the contract on time and within budget,
Alltype is proud to claim that the work was completed without
a single Lost Time Injury (LTI).
The company is well equipped to complete turnkey contracts
up to $6m, or simply to supply labour, plant and equipment
for day works.
