Profile: Management & Facilities

With a philosophy that well refined procedures extinguish chaos the company over the past two decades has continually developed and improved its Management Systems to promote optimum performance from its staff. Testimony to this is the extremely low turnover of key management.

Our Quality Management Systems are in accordance with the requirements of ISO9001:2008 and the current Certification with Bureau Veritas is valid until January 2013. Our Safety Management systems are in accordance with the requirements of AS 4801.

Alltype Engineering employs experienced managers that can competently control all aspects of a project from design to fabrication, installation and commissioning. We are extremely competitive in turnkey contracts up to $10m, and can administer civil, electrical and instrumentation sub-contracts if required.

The main office and fabrication site is located 35 kilometres south of Perth in Naval Base, Western Australia. We are within close proximity to the heavy fabrication and processing industry in Kwinana as well as primary subcontractors such as paint yards, Non-Destructive Testing companies, steel merchants, and other main suppliers.

The business is currently set up on two lots of land with two separate workshops, but operated as one facility.

The carbon steel and general fabrication is carried out in a 1260m2 enclosed workshop with two x10 tonne overhead gantry cranes. This shop has approximately 3000m2 of effective lay down and storage area. Steel processing is carried out in a fully enclosed 740m2 workshop with one 12.5 tonne and one 5 tonne overhead gantry crane.

Stainless steel fabrication and clean assembly work is carried out in a separate workshop of 660m2 with a 5 tonne overhead gantry and has approximately 1800m2 of lay down and storage area. This shop also has a self contained, fully equipped service bay for our fleet of vehicles and mobile welding plant. This developed property is 100% owned by the company.

New premises are now open on Hope Valley Road in Naval Base, these purpose built facilities will allow the company to invest in additional automated machinery and increase fabrication capacity. They will also offer additional office space and undercover storage of our ever growing site vehicle / machinery fleet. The new premises includes over 4200m2 of work shop c/w 7 gantry cranes, 700m2 of site equipment storage, 800m2 of office all on a 16,500m2 of land.
