The business trading name of Alltype Engineering Pty LTD was registered in 1985, and commenced operation primarily to service the power generation industry with high pressure welding, industrial insulation and asbestos removal, hence the company name. The Managing Director Mr Colin Heitman joined the company in 1988 as an Estimator and became a shareholder in 1991.

The company has diversified substantially over the years into the general engineering field, and now also contracts to the mining, petrochemical, oil and gas (on and offshore), mineral processing, water treatment / distribution and marine industries.

The last few years have seen the business turnover approximately $14 - $16 million per annum and employing an average of more than 50 personnel.
