Fabrication: Mild Steel Cement Lined (MSCL) Pipework

Alltype Engineering has been fabricating Mild Steel Cement Lined (MSCL) pipe fittings and spools since 1988. The Managing Director, Mr Colin Heitman has been heavily involved in this area of manufacture since the beginning of his apprenticeship with Steel Mains in 1980.  

With a strong commitment to developing effective fabrication and installation systems and procedures, by the mid 90’s the company had firmly established itself as the industry leader in the field of MSCL pipe fabrication in Western Australia. This claim was further strengthened with the installation of our CNC pipe processing machine in 2007.

Typically MSCL pipe fittings are fabricated from pre spun cement lined and coated pipes from 100 NB to 1400 NB however often clients require the pipe to be special material grades and thicknesses. When this is required the fittings are fabricated from preformed pipe or from rolled plate and then cement line by hand. Fittings can be fabricated using this method from 100 NB to excess of 2500 NB.
