Fabrication: Carbon Steel

Alltype Engineering has been carrying out medium to heavy fabrication since 1990. The main types of work undertaken within the workshop include:

• Fabrication of process piping to AS4041, AS2885 and ASME B31.3.
• Coded welding applications to AS1554 and ASME IX.
• Processing and Fabrication of Structural Steel (trusses, sub-sea structures, skids, beams, columns, braces etc) to AS4100, AS3990.
• Fabrication of Pressure Vessels to AS1210.
• Fabrication of Mild Steel Cement Lined piping to AS1281.
• Fabrication incorporating specialised materials and alloys such as stainless steel (all grades), inconel, chrome molybdenum, 3CR12, monel, duplex etc.
• Fabrication of silos, chutes, hoppers and tanks to API620, API650 and AS1697

Alltype Engineering has established relationships with several reputable design engineers, allowing them to provide total engineering solutions for most projects. Alltype Engineering services three workshop facilities can use a variety of materials in fabrication, meeting most manufacturing requirements. Workshop No1 can handle individual items, to the following sizes:

• Maximum diameter 3.5 metres
• Maximum length 20 metres
• Maximum weight 50 tonnes
